Vintage jewel made by Maison Gripoix, specialist in the manufacture of couture jewelry in poured glass.

The Gripoix family worked for the most prestigious couture designers of the 20th century such as Mademoiselle Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent.

The pendant represents a golden metal cross with poured glass drops of different colours : lilac, white and cognac.
You can wear the pendant in many ways by combining it with satin cords of various colours.

The pendant was made in France by Maison Gripoix but it is not signed.

Excellent condition, the jewel doesn’t seem to have been worn.

Beware of knocks on the poured glass.
If you drop the pendant on too hard grounds, it may break.

You should always use perfume on bare skin, before dressing up and putting on your jewelry. The jewels do not tolerate the perfume which damages them. You should never wear your jewelry at the beach, because of the sea salt which is corrosive. You should never sleep with your jewelry on, and you shouldn't wash yourself with it either.
